For Hunting at what age is considered an adult?

like say if i wanted to go hunting, since I'm 15 and i cant hunt alone, what is the required age of someone to be with me? just wanted to check and see if my brother could take me, he is 18 years old. im guessing its more like 21 or something?

  2. In Pennsylvania it is 17 to Hunt by yourself and be considered an adult.*

  3. As long as the person is old enough to purchase a license you can hunt with them!*

I would say it is 18 because that is the legal age to purchase a firearm (21 for a pistol) so if you are using a rifle/shotgun/bow it is legal, and you can hunt all by you'rself if you are 16 or older and using a guide (not alone but you don't have to have anyone tag along also you may want to ask the guide if you opt. to use one if they accept 16 year old hunters without a guardien.)

  5. depends on the state.  In WI you have to be 18.
