For Indians living in India?

Why do you guys think that people who live in America have soooooooooooooooo much money and tht making money for them is soooooooooo easy??

I will answer your question in simple terms and language..

In india.. how much do you pay to have a dosa? 10 INR

In usa.. you pay 5$ min = 1 hr pay in india according to you.

A lunch buffet at any of the foodcourts costs about 11$.. which is 440 INR.. how many times do you have  lunch for this amount??????

How much do you buy rice for? 10 pounds @ 200 INR

in USA you pay $8 min for 10 pounds = 320 INR

similarly.. most of the stuff NRI would buy will definitely cost more.. also, ppl pay about 1400$ for 1 bed room apartment = 60,000 INR per month.

Now tell me, does your question have any sense??

Also, as told above, please do not degrade your race. Though i might not know a lot about India but definitely, you should understand that each country has its own economy.. so, if you are in india.. .live happily.. plan as per you earn. There are people who make more than 100,000 INR per month and there are people who make less than 3000 PM. but it is the same in every country.. got it??

First of all $1 USD = $40 INR ! (Just for your knowledge).

You do not need to have a degree to earn $3000USD per month. I have friends in USA who do not have a degree or college education and they earn more then $3000USD per month.

People think NRI's have a lot of money because NRI's come to India flashing their money infront of people ( when I say flashing money I mean NRIs spend their money like there in no tomorrow, showing the shop keepers that they have lot of money. and some NRI's tell the shopkeeper money is no problem.)  Majority of the NRI's who come to India, wear gold jewelary ( gold watches, gold braclets, gold rings, necklec, earring. etc). What kind of image do you think the Indian people get.

India's welcome anyone with open arms. They will feed you even if they can not feed themselves. Do people in America do that???  If you love America so much then, why do you come to India, and If people are asking you for money then ask those people this question.

People in India send their children or family members to USA to earn money, so they will have a better life in India. It is very hard to live in India. Like Soni S said There is no welfare or government support in India. It's all about surviving for yourself.

JOBS: Getting a job in a call center in USA is easy, Here in India they look for a DEGREE then they will let you work at a call center. In USA an individual does not need to have a DEGREE to work at various places. Every where you work in India you need a DEGREE not a Diploma. If you want to work at the bank or airport or be a flight attendent you need a DEGREE. And that a UNIVERSITY.

NEXT TIME THINK BEFORE YOU JUDGE OTHERS AND THEIR COUNTRY. YOU ARE FROM THIS COUNTRY, NEXT TIME ASK YOUR RELATIVES IN INDIA WHY THINGS ARE THE WAY THEY ARE IN INDIA.

INDIA IS STILL A DEVELOPING COUNTRY WITH MANY PROS AND CONS.

JUDGE YOURSELF BEFORE YOU JUDGE OTHERS.

If you have been to India before you should know to shop around. People in India bargain. I have been to India many times, and if people try to charge you more then the normal price then you should tell them you know they are charging more and you want the normal price. If they will ot give you the normal price then go to the next shop.

It's not only NRIs who get charge more then the normal price, local people get charged more then the normal price as well.

In major cities NRI's can find fixed rate/price shops for many things.

NRI's should know to shop around before going outside their country.

India has many  tourist around the year.  If Indians relied on  tips then Indians would be dead by now. Indians work very hard to earn a living, and to support their family(just like anyone in the world would).

It depends on you who you talk to and how you make yourself appear in others eyes. If you act like you are an NRi, then people will charge you more because they know you do not know much about the area. Indians themself get looted as well. learn about a country before planing a vacation. You can not judge a country on one visit. Next time take someone with you who knows about the country.

You can not act innocent when arriving in India (especially  if you are a female) people will take advantage of you. When visiting another country you have to be smart and alert. India is a developing country. India is not like America or Europe. Next time consult someone who knows his/her way around the country.

why do you prosume everyone does think that.... making money in india means working you *** off whereas in america you have welfare and minimum wage ect ect.... so not alot to you to other makes a big difference to someones life

when i went to india last year, i found that when the locals found i was an NRI, they charged me double. i hated this as its discriminatory. i didnt flash my money around. i had my kids with me and wanted a nice holiday in india for economy sake. but this time i was disappointed as i felt looted. india for me was not a cheap place to go on holiday and made me think it would be better if i visit usa next time...£1-$2..at least all prices are fair for everyone. if local keep doing this..i am sure they will drive the tourist away...and tourism is really needed in india where some ppl only rely on tips from foreigners to earn a living. so come on indians...dont loot us..be fair and you will be rewarded in turn by virtues of good will.

Because 1 dollar is 40 rupees, 100 dollars  x 40= 1400 thats a lot of money to them
