For Iowans only... Fareway or Hy-vee?

Main reason i asked is because i work at fareway and Tyler M. works at hy vee

That's a funny question for here, the Languages forum, but I can actually answer this, lol.

For specials and prices (double coupons!): Fareway.

For bigger variety: Hy-Vee.

Both give excellent service, but I love the "drive-up-to-pick-up" at Hy-Vee.

Convenience: Hy-Vee 24 hrs.

Fareway always has the "hometown" feel, but I guess I'd have to say Hy-Vee.

(Now I'm curious about why you're asking.)
