Rome was brilliant, first time I’ve been. However I was surprised there were loads of caps, posters and other tourist stuff depicting Benito Mussolini. People can sell and buy what they want but I’m surprised the former dictator and murderer was being celebrated. I’ve never been to Berlin but I can't imagine there’s similar items in tourist shops depicting there fascist past.

  1. The fact that the tourist shops were selling souvenirs of Il Duce doesn't mean that they were applauding him in any way.  It's simply an indication of what tourists want to buy.  And obviously, they can hardly get enough of it!  The revolutionary Che Guevara, is equally popular among tourists to Cuba.  I expect that if Madame Tussaud's in London started marketing souvenirs based on the Chamber of Horrors they'd find a ready market. I hope they don't!
