how terribly sad, for everyone who has lost someone today. When i heard i felt a mixture of sadness and love and appreciation for my health and that of my family. we played soccer and laughed in the sun and i really appreciated being alive.

God Bless you Jane, may your family be comforted and always feel your presence until you all meet again

I just heard this 15 mins ago on the car radio. I was so shocked as I had no idea her health had deteriorated so rapidly. I know everyone here will feel the loss & wish Glenn & the children all the best. She was a very brave woman.

OMG...I'm speechless.....

I hope Glenn and the children find the courage that jane had to get through this time of saddness.

She faught a hard long battle..and to me she is trully inspirational, i probably wouldn't be able to cope with anything that she went through.

Here Here! I think the world is just that little bit worse off today for the loss of Jane Mcgrath. By all accounts she was a beautiful lady with a real love of life and her family. Who could forget that wonderful interview with Andrew Denton where she clearly took the limelight from one of out greatest ever cricketers!! My heart just breaks for two kids who will grow up without their mum. =(

Yes, my heart goes out to glenn n his family at this time. Cancer is a horrible disease and lets hope that a cure will soon be found. I also pray for those many people who r currently battling against cancer as we speak

EDIT: For those lowlifes how r leaving smart *** comments why don't u show some respect. There is no reason to be disrespectful towards a brave woman who fought a horrible illness. i can only hope u grow a conscience and realise how stupid u really are

I too am saddened by the loss of this very brave person. My heart goes out to the McGrath family as they have been through a lot.

Many people have been touched by this terrible disease, including my own family so I can sympathise fully.

This was a very public illness though so I cannot possibly imagine what that would be like.

Oh...and...

P.S. For all those people posting wise cracks. This not only shows you to be a child, but it also shows a total lack of just plane old simple courtesy. It also shows you are common muck and therefore have to revert to disrespecting a persons long fight against a horrible illness. I hope you never come across such tragedy in your life. It matters little what your feeble thoughts are of the McGrath family, what matters is your total lack of respect in a difficult time for a fellow human.

when it would have been so easy at times for her to just live her life and do things just for herself .. the amount of time she dedicated to others was inspiring ...

you wonder how the ar$eholes of the world often get to live to old age and good people like Jane McGrath leave so early ..hardly seems fair ..
