For L. Lawliet and death note fans...?

I read somewhere that there's supposed to be another death note spin off movie about L and his past at the Wammy's orphanage. It said it was going to be animated, not live-action. Does anyone know if this is true? Or is it just someone having a little fun and making it up...

  1. Hmm.. Are you talking about L change the worLd? I heard that was a spin off to Death Note series.

Not sure if they is any other ones xD

    Hope this helps!

  2. About the movie, currently there isn't one, (there could be, but news of it hasn't been released to the general public in Japan) but I'm pretty sure Nisioisin, or a different author, is writing another book similar to "Death Note: Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases", about it.  This is only rumored, however, and I have no solid proof, but it would seem rather likely.

Death Note was major, and still is even though the series has ended. Authors should be sucking it up, and hopefully are. I would only imagine if there is going to be a movie, it would be animated. (Where are they gonna find a kid to play L?) Anyways, I sure as h**l hope they will, and you can still look out for the novel. (Even though, as stated, there is no proof, it just has to happen!) If I find out any news, you'll be the first to know.

  3. Hm.Could you be referring to the second Death Note special that aired in Japan this August? I havent seen it (I REALLY WANNA), but I'm pretty sure it was about L and Mello and Near....

    P.S. I LOVE L!!!

  4. I don't know but that would be freaking awesome!!

  5. the movie's already been made XD it's called L: Change the World, and its live action

i've seen it, and.. i didnt really like it D: but dont listen to me, i'm sure you'll enjoy it if you're an L fan ^^

edit: oh shoot. just noticed you mentioned wammy's orphanage.. SORRY ABOUT THAT D: i need more sleep.

and no, i dont think so. the death note series seems to be pretty much finished.. i've heard of people doing an american remake of the movies, but nothing about L's past. (i dont think they'll ever show him as a kid XD)
