For MTG players, what's your favorite deck?

Describe its winning strategy(s). Don't worry, I won't steal your ideas because I already have 7 decks!

These is my favorite deck:

1) It's a black deck that buries 3 9/14 trample wurms for 3 mana (they cost 15 mana to send out) and than I have another card that switches players graveyards with cards in play for 5 mana. So ideally, I can have 3 9/14 trample wurms out in play on my 5th turn, and my opponent will have next to no creatures!

  1. Call me cheesy but I liked the Blue/Artifact Academy decks. You could make your opponent draw 60 cards, deal over 20 damage (sometimes both at the same time) and all in turn 3!

  2. My favorite decks would be my Darkest Day Deck and my Gating Assault deck.

Darkest Day-Light of Day + Darkest Hour

All creatures are black and they can't attack or block.  Then get Aurora Griffin into play letting you turn your creatures white until end of turn allowing you to attack.

Gating Assault-Furious Assault + Aluren + Gating creature

play your gating creatures for free bouncing themselves continuously.  Meanwhile everytime you do it, Furious Assault deals 1 damage to target player.  You can kill everyone in the game by never attacking on turn 4.

  3. My fav deck of all time that I once made back when mirrodin was standard legal was a decree of silence lockdown deck.

I would lay out the decree (Which reads, whenever an opponent plays a spell, counter it. then put a charge counter on decree. When there are 3 or more counters on it, scarifice it.) I would then use power conduit and other such cards to remove those counters, along with rule of law to make sure they cannot overload the decree. It was so fun to play, and even greater when it actually worked.

Right now, my fav deck is a millfolk using savor the moment with merrow commerce to untap. Best I have done is a turn 5 complete mill.

And I am not usre if you knew your cards names, so I shall let you know that your wurms are autochton wurms, and the other one is buried alive. and I think the last one is living death.

Might I suggest, assuming your run red, that you put anger in there to fetch another 2 creatures. with a mountain in play and anger in your grave, your creatures gain haste. I used to do it with a B/R Dragon reanimator. I would bury alive anger and 2 Dragon Tyrant. Makes for a quick death when they all came back with Patriarch's Bidding.

  4. please clairify on what you mean i know what burie means but what the 3 9/14 mean

  5. good old protean hulk with kami of false hope, lotus petals, claws of gix, and pattern of rebirth, and by the fifth turn I can have all of my creatures in play because nothing in my deck besides the protean hulk costs over six mana.  I have also been fine tuning this deck for over a year.

  6. My favorite is a black and white creatureless deck that I have.  The idea is to s***w up my opponent's plans early with Duress, Extirpate, and Cranial Extraction or keep the board clear of creatures with cards like Innocent Blood, Swords to Plowshares, Damnation, and Nevinyrral's Disk while I get a solid mana base going.  Once I have an Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth in play with one or more Cabal Coffers and a few other lands, I start hitting my opponent with massive Consume Spirits and Death Grasps.  I use Necropotence for card advantage or Demonic Tutor to fetch what I need.  In case I'm up against a counter deck, I have Boseiju, Who Shelters All to help force my spells through.  And finally, I have one copy of Yawgmoth's Will to be able to play everything again if needed.  It's a fun and effective deck to play but a frustrating one to go up against.
