For NY tax return, do I also get the NYC tax and state tax back as a return?

unlike Florida, NY has a state tax, and also a city tax. When i do my tax return, do I get my federal return but also my state and city tax for NY?

You don't "get" a return, you FILE a return.  A tax return is the forms and supporting schedules you file with the IRS and State and City tax authorities.

If the total taxes withheld from your pay is more than your tax liability as calculated on your tax return, you get a REFUND of any overpayment.  If not enough tax was withheld, then you'll have a debt that you must pay when you file.  That applies to all tax returns, whether Federal, State, County, or City.

Now that you live in NYC, you'll file Federal and State returns for sure.  If you also work in NYC, you'll file a NYC return as well.
