Let’s have a glance at the recent performances of the shortlisted candidates in order to find out one clear favourite.
For Non Stop, is coming into the race after delivering a few good performances. However, the luck has been a bit unkind to him over the past few weeks.
In each of his previous three races, he finished second on the table. Alderbrook ‘s son, out of Lost Link by Raymond O'Rourke, will have to give a finishing touch this time in an attempt to come out of this lean patch.
The raging colt made his last outing in December 2011, when he was thrashed by, Cue Card, in the Betfred Goals Galore Novices' Chase. Since he is returning to the races after a break of almost 50 days, he will be fresh and full of energy
For Non Stop, cannot afford to make any mistake, as Walkon, will be hunting for an opportunity. The seven-year-old gelding is likely to be given the second highest odds in the competition.
After registering a wonderful win in mid December, the colt lost his momentum in the Betfred Goals Galore Novices' Chase, where he could only end up third on the day. He has recorded three hurdle victories so far in his career, and his connection will be
expecting him to add another to the tally.
Cedre Bleu, and Mossley, are two dangerous participants, who can trouble the favourites. Out of his last three outings, Cedre Bleu appeared victorious on a couple of occasions. He is in winning mood at the moment, and that might create difficulties for the
rest of the pack.
Likewise, Mossley will look to finish at least among the top three. However, the six-year-old needs to avoid mistakes, which he committed in the Ryman Stationer Novices' Chase, where he was unable to show a clear run.
Prediction
According to the betting forecast, For Non Stop, is the potential favourite. However, if Walkon, manages to recapture the form of his Chase race debut, he will definitely be a huge threat. Meanwhile, the big names likes Cedre Bleu, and Mossley, deserve some
respect.
