  1. I'm a lifeguard and I've taught kids how to swim within a week.  It's most important to remember that you WILL float if you just relax.  After you understand that face, you just need to work on the strokes.  Keep working on it and you'll be swimming in no time!

    Good luck!

  2. That depends. I was under 2 years old when I knew how to swim well enough to keep myself afloat. When I learned how to move around, and swim laps and stuff, it took a few months to learn how to efficiently.

  3. Dont remember I was like 4 or 5

  4. 2 weeks but we have an indoor swimming pool...but the average is about 1-2months!

  5. I was a swim-teacher of the DLRG e.V. ( German Life-rescue-society) ! The most Pupils could swim good enough after a half year, to make a certification !

  16. I went through 12 levels of swimming. I'm still not amazing, but it is a fun solo sport, and keeps my muscles toned. Even if you only do a few levels, the main idea is to learn a bit of front crawl, breast stroke, water safety information. You don't necessarily have to try to be an olympic swimmer. Depending on how comfortable you are with being around water will affect how long it's going to take.

  17. It was so long ago I have no idea.  My parents had already worked on teaching me to float in the bathtub to be safe so by the time I got to lessons, I would say under an hour or so.

  18. about two months to learn well

  19. I am a quick learner........ about a week

  20. Like a month or two to do it well.
