For RISK-Are the "reinforcements" at the beginning of your turn chosen from your original set of 36?

Wouldn't everyone choose the higher 10 unit artillery?

  1. Each reinforcement is made up of units.  1st reinforcement is 4 units.  If all you have in your box is 5 and 10 units, then you must make change.  The 5 and 10 units are there just so the board doesn't get too cluttered during play.

    Edit:  As for your original question:  Reinforcements are taken from your box and has nothing to do with the amount of units you start with.


  2. I don't think you understand the units in the game. Each player starts with a number of units. The number of units varies withe the number of players. The different types of units can be interchangable, like money. A territory with eight armies can consist of eight infantry or one calvary and three infantry. Get it?
