For Those Who Have A Fear Of Clowns "Coulrophobia"...?

I wanted to know if the fear is just from strictly clowns and not other kinds of make-up actors, such as court jesters, mimes, and what not.

Is the fear only from clowns or is it all forms of make-up performers?

I have a fear of clowns, but jesters and mimes don't bother me.  HOWEVER!  Ventriloquists and attendant dummies scare the c**p out of me.

it is just clowns because there extreme ways they put there make up. makeup actors dont put the make up on in the same style. and reason for the fear is because they arent familiar. they dont look human like with all that c**p on! hope i helped
