For US citizens: What influences do your ancestors have on you? ?

Unless you are native American, your culture is mainly build up by people from other continents. So, in what degree is that affecting who you are today? What are the influences?

  1. Not necessarily true just because someone is a native American does not make them the 'only Americans'

    My family are Americans first, not second or third I would never consider myself anything more than American. Yes, my ancestors came from Europe but that was many, many years ago. My culture is not build up from people from the EU it's built up from people in the USA we are Americans first and foremost.
