For XC runners/ Long distance runners.?

Question

I don't know where to find long distance running shoes. I need lightweight but with cushion. Last year I ran in Nike Zoom Rivals with a waffle outsole. And they were great. I really like those soles. So now I can't find a pair :|, Any suggestions. No shoxs. Or any shoes that weight like 4 pounds. Thankkks.

Otherwise, go to or call your local running store and ask the sales person what they have which closest to the Nike Zoom Rivals.There is usually a newer model of that shoe put out every year.  From your posting it sound like that shoe worked well for you last year, that's half of the battle right there.

Also consider getting more that one set of that specific shoe.  After all they are only made for 500 miles of running.

Asics are great. This year I bought adidas and my feet hurt and get blisters. I miss my asics.
