  1. $399 + shipping. I'm ordering from www.bridalonlinestore.com (I think that's what its called. lol).  My friend told me about it, she got hers and it was GORGEOUS.  It's a $1200 dress for $400.  Major deal in my opinion. lol.  I figure alterations will be a couple hundred more.

  2. My dress cost about $180, including shipping AND one of those strapless/backless bras that you stick on your b***s so you can wear a strapless/low-back dress (FreeBra or NuBra). And the dress is gorgeous!

I got it from Beata-Bridal, an ebay store that custom-makes knock-offs of designer dresses. My dress was based on a Maggie Sottero gown design. I didn't want a sash or beads on my dress, and they made it the way I wanted it. It just arrived this week, and it's so beautiful! I only need to make a couple of minor alterations but it fits me and is well-made.

  3. How young?  I got married at age 22 but my lovely parents bought my wedding dress.  It cost $1450 and my veil was about $150.  I had alterations done to the dress which cost $100 (just shortening the hem due to me being too short!)

I would have worn my mother's dress (with a few alterations obviously to make it more modern) but by the time I started highschool I was already to tall and too wide for it!

  4. I got mine for Anderson's Brides (Anchorage, Ak) and it was beautiful. Fit me perfect. It was spendy, specially compared to the rest of our wedding budget. My gown was $1100. And the rest of the wedding was only $5,000. I know, it was crazy. But it was the one thing I wanted to spend the most on because I will keep it forever and my daughters can wear it if they want.

  5. My wedding dress is costing 2400 and veil in 110. Im not sure if its off the shelf or custom made, i tryed it on in the store and than they sent my measurements off to usa for them to make my actual dress. So custom made I guess. I still havnt payed it all off yet and wedding is in January. It was one of the most expensive things for our wedding, photography is only 1800, but it was the first dress i tryed on and i fell inlove with it, than they told me the price haha. I will cherish it forever.

  6. got my dress at david's Bridal... so basically off the shelf.  It was $650.. and alterations were $250 (Stupid I know..)

  7. I am going to get mine custom made!  It is actually a lot cheaper than buying it off of the shelf.  I was looking at verymerryseamstress.com

  8. I got mine at Alfred Angelo, it was $1,000 and $200 for the veil.  Don't think I'll need many alterations since it was pretty true to size when I tried it on and has a corset back, so that should be easy to take in if needed.
