  1. regardless of age breastfeeding is not the reason for breast changes. genetics determines how pregnancy will affect b*****s, yes pregnancy is what changes b*****s not using them to feed your child. so women who chose not to breastfeed to "save" their b*****s are not doing what they had hoped.

  2. Yeah, really, if your b***s are going to go, they'll go regardless of whether or not you breast feed.

Anyhow, I've been breastfeeding for nine months now and will stick it out to twelve months.  Figuring that my baby's well being is a lot more important than anything else.

  3. breastfeeding it self isn't what makes your b*****s change shape, its your pregnancy. I breastfed for 14 months, and my son went right on to cups and the occasional sippy cup. I breastfed because I knew it was the best for my baby.

  4. well, it's best to inclusively breastfeed for 6 months, then continue till the 12th month (along with solids). you can of course continue breastfeeding after the first year too...

as far as the shapes of the b*****s go, all changes are brought on by pregnancy and breastfeeding does not change the shape of the b*****s.

    good luck

  5. Breastfeeding does not make your breast sag. Breast sag because tissue becomes stretched from growing to fast or to much for the skin to retract back. This can happen to breastfeeding women and non breastfeeding women. It can also happen to women who never got pregnant.

As far as to how long to breastfeed the World Health Organization (WHO) states that you should breastfeed until at least the age of 2.

American Acadamy of Pediatrics says that you should breastfeed until at least 1 and then until comfortable for both mother and child.

Both sites say that children should be soly breastfeed until 6 months of age and at 6 months you should start to introduce solids.

  6. I got pregnant with my first baby when I was 19 and my big jugs were already saggy.  My mom apologized to me countless times during my teen years for passing on her "bad boob genes." lol  Anyway, I don't really care what those things look like.  They're made for babies to suck on, right?  To answer your question, I couldn't breastfeed my first baby, but my second nursed until he was 2 1/2 and my third is still nursing at 22 months.

My grandma didn't breastfeed any of her babies and her b***s hang down to about her belly button.  Not that I've seen her naked or anything, but I have seen her in a nightgown without a bra.  Gravity will take it's toll eventually, people!

  7. i breastfed my son for 2 years. then i hit the gym and they are back to perfect. i dont get stretch marks tho. i would never sacrifice my childs health for the sake of my looks. lets face it. im gettin older anyways, and the only one who cares is my sons dad, and he dosent care.

  8. Your b*****s will be fine as long as you support them in the right bra, breastfeeding will not make them sag.  You need to know that what you are doing by breastfeeding your baby is the best food and comfort you can offer.  Breastfeeding has life long benefits for your child, and for yourself.  You are helping to reduce your risk of breast cancer later in life by breastfeeding.  keep up the good work.
