  1. Yes!

Because the men's world record is 9.74s, and the women's world record is 10.49s!

Well done, I know I would never be able to run that fast!

  2. I think it's pretty good

    I'm 15 and run an 11.4

  3. Yes, that is pretty fast for a 14year old. The standard for u15men is actually 12.3 exact so you are (uk standard) doing really good!

    And u15 women is 13.3

Well done on your 100m! Keep it up :)

  4. 12.3sec is just a bit above the average of what the guys on my school's track team do for their 100m.

Strengthening will help you overall. Since the 100m is such a short distance, working on your start will help a lot. Ask your coach to teach you proper starts and test out strategies that other sprinters on your team use.

    Good luck!

  5. yes!

Lifting weights will help you improve. squats, deadlifts, lunges. Also talk to your coach.  That's what he or she is there for!

AND form will help you improve. once again talk to your coach

  6. i think it's a little faster then average.

when you run, try to only let your toes touch the ground

    and then lift them quickly.

    onyl for short distance, though

  7. YUP! hehe
