-I was doing 42 in a 25

-My first ticket was also 3 points

-I have Liberty Mutual (on my parents plan)...if that helps any

I just need a ballpark figure, I don't know if I should be expecting $10 or $10,000 so any info would help!

Please, no speeding lectures...I've received enough of those as it is and as you can tell from my driving record, they don't really get through to me.

  1. Your insurance may go up at least 45.75%, but I'd do something about that lead foot if I were you.

  2. Help yourself:) You can easily check how your quotes will change in internet, for example here: http://autoinsurance.noneto.com

  3. Depends on your state. I had a 40 in a 25 in New Jersey, and my insurance went up by about $450 every year, but then again, i pay $2,900 a year.

However, when i lived in california, i paid $540 a year, and on a 2 point ticket, my insurance went up $14.
