For a Child to act . And say... be on a Disney Show . Do they need to have a work Permit? [license?]

Im auditioning for a Disney Show. Do I need to have a Permit to act? Since I am Under aged and i would be working. my job would be acting.

Do i need one?

How do I go about getting one?

  1. sorry but YES you do need a working permit to work for the television industry because you are under age.Im auditioning for the same part and im in process in getting my permit.

    Most disney roles and other roles require you to have a agent, and a SAG card.

  2. You don't need the permit until you get the job.

  3. I myself am currently acting.

    you probably don't need to get a permit until you actually GET the part. but, on most occasions, you need one in order to get out of school temporarily.  

    remember, you have to be absolutely responsible in school and get good grades although you may miss calsss a few times. keep up with school work or the disney people won't want you.
