Because the need to be bilingual now is all but imperative, would these be the appropriate major/minor combo?

Major-Communications with a concentration in Speech & Hearing Sciences

Double Minor-Spanish for the professions and Latino/a Studies

Why/why not would this be/not be appropriate?

  1. YES! That is a great choice...I double majored in Communications and Media Studies because my school did not offer Communication Disorders and Spanish. When I began taking my pre-requisite courses in Speech Path at another school, all of my teachers highly recommended going for bi-lingual speech therapy due to my background. Would it be possible to major in instead of double minor? A major in Spanish may look stronger because from what I understand Latino Studies is a combination of history, social sciences, classes and are usually taught in English. If you are fluent and dont need the extra help speaking the language, then go for a double minor
