  1. It matters where you are staying but if you do the average birthday visitor you would stay at a moderate resort-- 150-330 a night. Then if you stayed for four nights and five days that would be around fifteen meals give or take you skips a few or have snacks then the approximent price for that is around three hundred to a high of about 800 (could be higher this is just an estimate). Then you have to calculate the possibility of party so let us say you have one, then you have to put in the amount of 100 to 200 (although I don't think you will have a party). Finally you have to say the parks. I reccomend park hopper so you can skip around but the average usually do once park per day so that would be around five hundred dollars, to three days so around nine hundred is for the parks. Now if you calculate it all together...

    200 (average between 150-330)

500 (estimate of meals and snacks)

    150 (party)

    500 (tickets)

    +______

    1350

Now this is just an estimate and I did not put in Downtown Disney and shopping now if you put that in this could calculate to around 2000 dollars (give or take which resort you are staying at). Now I hope I helped, and have a Disney Day!

  2. You can price out your Disney World vacation at Orlando Fun Tickets http://www.OrlandoFunTickets.com

    Have fun!

  3. As others have noted, it depends on where you stay and for how long you stay.  Also, Disney prices vary quite a bit by season of the year.  March is for example a high-priced month, and, other than the first week, is quite crowded.

If you can celebrate your birthday early--e.g. in the first half of February--you can do the trip much more cheaply.  Prices also go down after Easter.

See this page for 2009 price seasons at Walt Disney World: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-...  and see this page for recommended weeks to visit WDW in 2009: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-...

Hope this helps and have a great trip! Dave

  4. If you want to say in disney, the pop century is a good choice in the  value resort, and port orleans french quarter and caribbean beach resort are good choices in the moderate. With all of the perks that staying in a disney resort offers it is definitely worth the money!

but if you are looking to stay outside of disney, make sure you get something with a complimentary shuttle to the parks.

  5. well it depends on what you want included:

    such as:

    hotel

how many and what type of tickets

    if you want meal plan.

you can go to the disney world website and plan your entire trip and customize everything from your hotel, meal plan, tickets, even flights, and free transportation from the airport to your hotel and back. and there is free transportation from your hotel to all areas of disney world. this way you don't have to rent a car.

just to give you an idea of what things cost:

    disney value resorts-$82 per night

    regular meal plan:

    *1 table service meal

    *1 quick service meal

    *1 snack per day

    $39 per day.

plus i recommend you bring breakfast from home like poptarts or cerial and buy the souvenier refillable mug at your hotel which can be filled at the hotel as many times as you want. it costs $12

this way you can use your meal plan more wisely.

breakfast-what you've brought from home and a drink with the mug

    lunch-one of you meals

    snack

    dinner-one of your meals.

and a 1 day base ticket costs $75 but the more days you get on your ticket the cheaper the price per ticket is.

and you can add on the park hopper option and/or water park and more option for a price.

go to the website and price your vacation. there is no obligation to book your trip just customize what you want to you know how much it will cost.

  6. Disney has resorts ranging from $80 a night to $500 a night.

Tickets are anywhere from $60 for one park for one person to $500 for admission to all the parks for 10 days.

Food prices vary as well... expect to pay around $3 for a bottle of water and a whole meal upwards of $20 at least per person.

There is much, much more to a Disney vacation than that, but that will give you the basics to roughly figure it out.  It is better to overestimate than under.

I would suggest you check www.allears.net they have prices on there in addition to full menus and prices for all of the restaurants.

I have created an excel spreadsheet that I am currently using to plan my next WDW vacation.  I would be happy to send it to you if you would like.  Send an e-mail.

  7. To start decide when you want to go and your flexibility,  Next go to www,disneyworld.com and you can book your trip putting in dates, hotel etc.  They will price it out for you as you are filing it out on the site.  You do not have to book this will give you prices.

Another tip is to go out of peak season if you want to go the cheapest,  They just had a special at the value resorts including tickets and food for like 60,00 per person per day for everything so watch for specials and call a disney vacation planner to see if there are any specials sometimes they are great.

Good luck, do your research and ask questions before you book.
