1. LOL! It's not whether you'd CRASH, it's whether your body would be identifiable afterwards. 8^)

The basic answer to your question is that a 1400cc bike is much heavier and harder to control for a beginner. It would be like learning to drive in an 18-wheeler. But in the case of the ZZR1400, it would be more like learning to drive in the Space Shuttle! A beginner has no business riding a motorcycle that can do 186 mph!

(I have been riding for decades! And even I have very little idea just how fast 186 mph is on a motorcycle! I have gone 110. One time, just to see if I could do it.)

But even at a reasonable speed, a bike that heavy is going to be trouble until you get a feel for it. Slow-speed cornering around town, backing into parking spaces, etc. will not be fun. Gravel or dirt roads or even gravel parking lots will be a nightmare!

  2. The only correct answer so far is from Dingo.

You do have the know how to ride a ZZR 600 let alone a ZZR 1400 [ that can do nearly 200mph out of the crate].

Start with something like a 250 four stkoe or a 125 stroker twin.

A ZZR1400 in the hands of a novice is certain death.

  3. Hey Saman

    Both good answers but.....

By the way you would probably get a better responce if you posted this in "cars and transportation" under "motorcycles"

This forum is for racing questions - like "Did you watch the gp this weekend?"

  4. He would be a fool if he did not take a riders safety course & go to racing school to learn how to control a machine this these.
