For a party your were invited to...?

would you rather have sub sandwiches premade for you or build your own sub?

is just having cut rolls, a meat and veggie tray and condiments trashy?

Nothing wrong with"build you own" sandwiches, I prefer it to pre-made because people have a choice. Mayo, no mayo, mustard, no mustard,  I don't think it is trashy. Just make a pleasing fruit bowl, potato salad and cole slaw.

just get a 3 foot american hero & 3 foot italian hero or chicken cuttlet hero

will be cheaper in the long run and people can pick off what they dont want

they usually give you the condiments and pasta and potato salads to!

Make your own sub sounds like a great idea.  I think people would enjoy making their sandwich and having it the way the like it.  Not trashy at all and I don't think it would be an inconvenience to anyone.  It would also be more affordable than buying it already made.

Nope, not trashy at all. I would prefer to build my own, I hate it when it comes with everything on it and I'm sure I am not the only person, LOL

I like premade ones because its easier.  If people don't like the stuff on them they could pick it off.

I think your best bet is mostly premade but without condiments and cut in small pieces (3" if you are using sub rolls).  Let people decide for themselves which/how much mustard/mayo etc. to put on them, but have all the stuff almost everyone wants on their sandwich there already--meat, lettuce, tomatos.  This way people can grab one and go back to the party quickly, or take the time to build the perfect sandwich--their choice.

No, I think that is great. I would rather build my own personally, but if your friends aren't picky than have them pre-made. Or you could build a little fireplace outside and roast hotdogs?

Cut the rolls ,put out the food , let people make their own meal ... it's called a buffet ... nothing trashy about that.
