For a science experiment what are the constant variable and relative variable?

like what do they mean? im doing an experiment to see if clouds form better over fresh, salty or bracken water.

  1. I would assume that a constant variable would be the density (specific gravity) of the water, but a relative variable might be the air temperature which would vary from day to day. That is my guess!


  2. constant variable is a variable that stay contant.means doesn't change.u wont chang your constant variable.

    relative variable is variable that you want to know the result after doing the experiment.

    ok.in yr experiment,the relative variable are salty water and bracken water.

    and your constant variable is anything that you not change in this experiment.i think its yr cloud before doing the experiment..
