For a starter car would you choose a Honda, an Altima or a Chevy Cobalt?

go with the Honda. They are very low maitanence and will last you a long time with very few problems. Altimas are good cars too, but not as reliable as a honda. Stay away from chevy.

Not the Cobalt!  Otherwise, it's personal preference.  Hondas in general have fewer problems, but are rather bland.  Your individual Honda might still have lots of problems, you never know.  It happened to a friend of mine.

I'd buy the Altima coupe, a punky, spunky fun little car.  Take a look:

Honda is the best but will also cost the most.

the Altima is a great car at a good price, less then a Honda.

avoid the cobalt it's a chevy cavalier with a new coat.

not nearly as nice or reliable as either of the others.

for a starter car i would go with nissan altima because it as reliable as the honda and cost less. and your resale value goes down. i like chevy but the chevy car value drop a lot more

Well it depends on what you are willing to spend. They are all nice cars. I will tell you that if you buy a Honda or Altima you are going to pay much more than you would pay for the Cobalt. My parents have a Cobalt. They are really cute cars especially if you get a Cobalt SS.

A Honda...it will last forever.  Altima's are pretty good but tend to have problems sometimes in their electrical systems.  Stay away from the Chevy.

Chevy Cobalt  because the foreign cars do last long but it can be extremely costly to fix them chevy parts are everywhere

Honda because of reliability and price.  But these vehicles are highly customizable.

Altimas kinda look nice.

Chevy Cobalts aren't really high on a thieves list.

Every car has its ups and downs.  If you get a Honda, put LoJack on it.

honda..becuase they get good gas milege and they are long lastin cars. my uncle still has his honda and its like a 1992 abd it runs great.
