  1. I think that the gerbera daisies would be best. They are very affordable and come in many different shades. Like these:

You could also use some carnations:

  2. If you want red flowers, Gerbera daisies are very pretty (larger than normal daisies) and come in ALL sorts of colors; red, white, yellows, etc.  Ask your florist for suggestions they can usually help you get the look you're going for with a lower cost flower.

    Good luck & Congrats!!!

  3. You really need to talk to a florist , take in some pictures of bouquets and flowers you like , a fabric swatch or two and ask questions and take suggestions. Because flowers have seasons and prices can change/ fluctuate during holidays or local events trhis really is the best option to help determine what you can get for your moneys worth. And there are some florist won't admit it , but we all know it to be true - but the bride who is willing to sit down and discuss openly with a florist usually is more satisfied with the outcome because she left nothing to guess at, and the florist can some what get a feel for your personality and come up with some great things!

  4. Hi.

Are the bridesmaids dresses a "red shade?"  Remember that you do not want the flowers to blend in....you want them to stand out!  So, you would not want to have red flowers against a red dress....too blah.

Anything white or even yellow would look nice against a red shade.  Cheaper flowers are:

    ~ carnations (very cheap)

    ~ regular daisies:

    ~ gerbera daisies:

    Hope this helps!

  7. Pure White Calla Lilies!

They are gorgeous with everthing. Have your bridesmaids (if their gowns are red) hold white ones, and you hold Red ones.

If you have them made (silk) they look better, and last longer!
