  1. It sounds like you may have pain that is radiating. You may need a chiropractic adjustment. Do you carry a backpack, briefcase, or other heavy items? Did you recently start back to school? In any case -make an appt. and hopefully your Dr. is a DO as well as a GP or MD.

  2. It could be gas.

It happens to me all the time.

I get a gas bubble in my chest or ribs even in my back.

    It is so d**n uncomfortable.

    Try taking some gas medicine.

If you do not have any right now, drink some soda that has a lot of fizz in it.

It may take a day or two to feel better but that usually works for me.

I actually have a gas bubble right now under a rib and it hurts like h**l.

Sometimes people have chest pains due to stress.

If you are stressed out try to relax a bit and see if it goes away.

If your chest pain gets really bad, go see your doctor or go to the ER.

You never want to mess with chest pains.

    Hope you get better!

  4. I just had this...I have two doctors...and Internal medicine doctor and an Alternative medicine doctor...The Internal said it was a torn muscle and to rest a few days...I was given ibuprofen (600 mg) which you can buy over the counter for like $6...and some muscle relaxer which did nothing except put me to sleep...maybe it helped me in my sleep..who knows.

The Alternate doctor gave me a spinal adjustment and acupuncture...the pain was gone 20 minutes later...no joke.  He said it was a pinched nerve in between my ribs caused from too much exercise on one side of the body.

if you rate your pain higher than a 10 out of 10...GO TO YOUR DOCTOR...don't wait until you can't breathe in the middle of the night and then have to call 911.
