  1. It could be a few things but sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome coz I get the same thing too. Try to rest your hand & wrist to let it heal and use themal therapy gloves to improve circulation to ease the pins & needles.

  2. You probably got a pinched nerve somewhere, most likely the shoulder. Start doing some arm exercises to loosen the nerve. Take a muscle relaxer if need be. Should go away as quick as it came on. That happens to me if I sleep the wrong way like maybe my pillow is putting pressure on my shoulder when it shouldn't be. Lots of reasons this happens. Nothing to worry about. If you think it might be in the shoulder or somewhere else in that arm, apply some moist heat to it by soaking a towel in hot water, ring it out, apply the towel where you think the pinch might be, then rub it with some Aspercreme Cream, if not allergic to aspirin. You could also take a 600 Mg Motrin, again if not allergic to aspirin. Good luck to you sir.

  3. my mum got this on her hand too, for her it was like pins & needles and tightness of her fingers. they say its could be carpel tunnel of the wrists.
