I know I want to work in tv/movie entertainment, but I don't know where I would fit in. I'm thinking about acting, but I don't know if I'm tough enough or talented enough (I don't know how much practice I would need, lol)

  1. Acting isn't just something you want to do, it's something you need to do. I'm only fourteen, and I know that acting is my passion, something that I want to do for the rest of my life, whether I am successful at it or not. Believe me, you'll know from the minute you step out on stage on opening night whether you are cut out to be an actor. You can feel it.

I hope this helps. Don't fret about whether you are "tough" enough for the business. If you really need to do something, you can move mountains to make it happen.

  2. Whenever I read about them, they all in the main say they knew when they were kids - around 8 - 12.

Whatever you want to do, the thing is to try. It's the only way you're going to know if it's for you.

    Good luck!

  3. Well, I knew beacause in 2nd grade we did a class play and all of the parents came and asked my mom if I was in theater, soon after that came  a love of acting! I just don't know what company to go with or where to get my start so, Tell me how it goes!!!
