For adoption........?

I have been thinking of adoption quite a bit lately. I am single living in South Africa. I am currently studyin & doing a temporary teaching post for preschool.

I have been on a few websites for adoption & have just wanted to know are you allowed to adopt if you are single or do you have to have a partner????? Is there anything else that I should know about adoption???????

In the UK it's fine. But each country has it's own laws.

i would think and hope you could adopt being single as there is alot of single parents around all the child needs is alot of love and attention and of cause a single parent can do that so i dont see why not there must be an adoption agency you could ring and ask
