The best websites for ag stuff are the other college websites. Oklahoma state has some good stuff. The USDA website is good as well. It depends on which area you're studying. My major was animal science, so all the websites I know well are animal sites....though Texas A&M has a website devoted to precipitation information in West Texas.

You can find just about anything you want by searching Google, but you are going to have to be a lot more specific.  Narrow down your search to a single topic, study it and move on to something else.

Having already earned my degree in Plant and Soil Sciences, I can tell you that anything you need will be on a case by case basis. Most of what you will have to know will be in the text books that will be required for your classes. For all my studies, I rarely sold any books back to the school, and I maintain them close to me as I need them almost daily. I will go to them first and more often than I would go to the Internet. Having had to use them for my studies, I know them, know what is in them, and know just where to find any bit of information I need. They are indispensable. Over the years I have bookmarked a number of important sites as I have no information or text on the subject, but anything I find I need often I end up buying a book on the subject.

You will find some need to keep things bookmarked on the Internet. I set up different folders on my desk top for that, but mostly it is the papers I have to write, and some drawings that require AutoCAD. The "books" will never be replaced by the Internet, but it is a great tool to help and is a close second place, indispensable now that I am spoiled with it.
