  1. They can be cool. Big on both terrrestrial and satellite - that's more than Howard can say right now. here's an interesting article by the editor of Radio-Info that shows their human side:

<<Opie & Anthony are feeling a bit insecure, about XM.

The merger talk – and memories that they passed on signing with Sirius to go with XM – showed up in yesterday’s XM-only morning show. Like Opie saying “Hey, anyone else getting’ the feeling that XM might let us go?” He says “I’m not tryin’ to start a silly rumor. I know I’m good at that, but I’m seriously getting that feeling these days.” O&A are feeling cut off from XM while the merger winds its way through the corridors of Washington, and they’re even thinking that if it goes down and Mel Karmazin takes over – he’ll want his own people in place. They surmise that Karmazin doesn’t like chief XM programmer Eric Logan because he left CBS to join XM (“Mel doesn’t like it when you go away to work for other people”). But on one point, Opie & Anthony feel pretty solid: “We’re way more valuable than Howard Stern, ‘cause they didn’t get us for a hundred million dollars a year, nowheres near that.” So what’s really going on?>>

Real trade stuff you don't get from other sources.

  2. Not Really, I've listend to them a few times.  I'm Mostly In XM Music Land !!

  3. Yeah I'm a huge fan.  I think there are more people out there that would like the show but are biased due to their past.  This is not to say, however, that this bias is not unfounded.  The old WNEW days were more salacious whereas todays show is more intelligent and above all - honest.  I do not want to say, however, that the show does not have it's salacious moments as it certainly does.  What I like most about the show is there entertaining, funny and honest take on a variety of topics including popular culture, the war, racism and yellow-journalism (aka: The media).
