Or do you think that it was really his double who was killed and falsely profiled as Hitler himself? And where do you think Hitler might have gone if he did escape WWII?

Yes he killed himself in 1945.   If he did escape he would be in South America, but he is dead.

He did kill himself and his mistress Eva Braun they died together when he realized the war could not be won and Germany had lost.
