First off I would like to let you know I feel bad for you guys on your quarterback situation. I thought my browns situation was bad last year...but this just must be unbearable.

Anyways my question is theoretically if Farve is traded, and Rogers starts how would if feel towards the Packer organization IF Rogers is a total bust? Especially to those of you who want Farve to start. Just out of curiosity.

Sorry if you see this question more then once. For some reason it isn't posting...

  1. I wouldn't mind if Rodgers didn't do so hot his first season. I mean, he is a rookie, and he's gonna make mistakes, but with those mistakes will come more knowledge on how to play with the NFL, thus making him better every game he plays.

  2. Not upset with the team, it is a business, you need to go with what gives you the best chance for the next 5 or 10 years, not just the next season. As much as I liked having Favre here, he will not be playing (anywhere) 5 years from now, Rodgers will.

  3. Let's be honest, Rogers is going to flop.  He has proved nothing.  He was horrible in the family night game and I have no faith in the guy.  What will happen is either a. he will be horrible the Packers will regret their decison as favre takes whatever team his is playing for to the championships or b. he will be injured in one of the first games a rookie who has never played a pro game in his life will enter and the Packers will suck again forcing them to regret their decision.

Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson will then those their jobs and next year we will be left without a QB, without a head coach, and without a general manager

All in all the Packers are making a HUGE mistake

  4. If Favre is traded, I will be disappointed but I will always be a Packer fan no matter what. I find is disgusting, however, Brett Favre fans are prowling around embarassing the organization by saying "Bring Brett Back" and "Fire Ted Thompson" I also find it disgusting that some of those fans chanted "Bring Brett Back" at practice and distracted the team from practicing.

There is more to the Packers then Brett Favre. Some people just need to let go and look forward to the future without him. He is going to eventually leave. h**l, I have read some posts saying they aren't going to be Packer fans anymore just because of them getting rid of Brett. Talk about unloyal. There were never Packer fans to begin with. True Packer fans support the organization, no matter how bad the management is and how bad their decisions are.

By the way, I support Rodgers and wish him the best.

    and luis e,

Wasn't Thompson the one who rebuilt our team from that 4-12 season to last seasons' 13-3? Yeah I think so apparently, he does care about winning. If not, then our record would of been opposite.

  5. Most people are a fan of a "club" not a player. You can like and support a player but once he (or she) has moved on then you get behind the replacement. Rogers has waited patiently and respectfully behind Favre for all these years and deserves his chance. He may be a bust or great but he needs to have the chance.

  6. My answer to this mess....roger staubach...terry bradshaw...john elway...bob greise...troy akiman...Jim kelly and dan marino..They all played for one team and the management went with them to the end..Thats respect....

joe montana?>>..steve Young......one case against..but were talking steve young

Name any other Legend that got this treatment at the end of his career....They dished the man...If brett farve wants to play football respect the man...

  7. I would be totally pissed since im already pissed as it is. Hopefully Favre can go to a team that wants him and becomes successfull. And btw if the Packers suck this year I would be calling for TT and MMs heads. Because they dont give a **** about winning.
