  1. The bounces on grass are low, fast, and somewhat unpredictable, so serve-and-volley players, who are good at avoiding letting the ball bounce, have an advantage. Slice shots are more effective on grass than on other surfaces, because the skidding effect of a good slice drive is enhanced by the low bounce. Faster serves skid forward, making them harder to return, but kick serves don't kick as well, making them easier to return.

  2. If the ball bounces low,it will shoot thru very fast.If the ball bounces high it sits up.The surface is impossible,to play sensible tennis. If the ball is hit hard it's impossible to return it due the the accelerating speed.Hard courts are best

  3. Turf is better.

  4. ive played on grass courts. to play, you need to be very agile and powerful. the grass keeps the ball really low, and you need to have good volleys and serves. the grass is low cut, which means that there is a lot of bounce if you hit with the mustard. go to like a place where there isnt much grass, and see what its like. u need a lot of control. thats why there are few people who are good on grass.

  5. It's okay, but probably the worst court type to play on, clay is  the best
