I would agree for someone who is viciously raped,or a mother who's life is in danger for giving birth. But I cannot agree to a quicky one night irresponsible fling. There are condoms and birth control pills out there. There is no excuse.

  1. I don't think it's fair to make it illegal. There's situations. I think if someone is under 18 and they were just being stupid, they still should bnot have to have a baby. but they should get counciling or something. But otherwise, there's not a lot of reasons for it.

  2. iF The girl was raped and the man had AIDS then I wouldnt want the baby to suffer the moment it is born... but i really dont know.

  3. Yeah I hear you. But I don't like the idea of laws regulating what a woman or human being can or cannot do with their own body. I think it's outrageous when someone can't have the right to decide for their own person. Women should have that choice regardless if she's going to act upon it or not.

    It's called freedom of choice!

  4. I do not agree with abortion. But I do believe in exceptions. But how can a woman who doesn't prove her rape to get an abortion? I mean... if she's raped.. but they don't charge the man because she has no proof other than the baby. and they don't know that she didn't want it. it would cause controversy over that.

  5. Brooke, I don't understand why you make exceptions only for when it's "not the mother's fault."  Do you feel abortion is murder?  If so, then how is it any less murder depending upon the circumstances of conception?  If it's not murder, then why would you want to prohibit "s***s" from getting one?  Is it simply to punish them for being too stupid to use contraceptives?  Don't you think making a woman carry a child to term is kind of a silly way to punish them?  Why don't we just give them a scarlet A like they did back in the day?

BTW, I'm pro-choice and my line is when the fetus can begin to feel pain, which happens sometime in the second trimester.

  6. of corse there are but i am neither for it or against it, i am a little of both which still proves your point also. Of corse a person should have an abortion if it can kill them but still it is the persons choice on wether or not they do. It is THEIR own body and they have the right to do what they want with it.

  7. No one is 'for' abortion...we are for the right of the woman to choose what happens with her own body. I agree....I am NOT in favor of abortion in 99% of the circumstances....

However, MY PERSONAL BELIEFS should NOT be national policy and law.

  8. I think the only reason for an abortion should be rape or if medically necessary. If someone is having an abortion just because they made a mistake and can't keep the child, then they should give birth and look into adoption.

  9. you right ! they are taking a poor child'ss life and its not even like they could help it ! people should be more responsible now days !

  10. I personaly think that if you are having a kid, you have no right to take away its life- its murder! When it grows up, only it can decide

  11. Well. If the woman/girl uses abortion as a way of birth control than that is absolutely irresponsible. otherwise everyone has their reasons and circumstances

  12. d**n straight there are condoms and birth control for free out there so why aren't these stupid young s**t bags using them? Bottom line a woman has the right to do anything she wants to with her body. If a man is worried about what to think then he should have thought about that before he stuck his p***s in there.

  13. Well that's is why you do not make the laws lady!  You are not allowed in my doctors office, I make decisions for me, you make them for yourself!  I may not chose an abortion for myself, but I refuse to tell another women what to do.  That is between the woman, her doctor, and God, not YOU!  Last I checked women that are getting 1 aren't asking you what you think!

  14. I wouldn't advocate it. However, when it comes to individual decisions, that decision is between that woman, the father of the baby and God. Neither you, nor I, can pass judgment on the things they do. You probably do some things in life that I don't agree with, but who cares, really? In the grand scheme of the World Order, who really cares?!

  15. ??

  16. There is a flaw in your thinking. People who use condoms, the pill or other methods of birth control can still get pregnant. None of those BC options are 100% fool proof. While I don't think abortion should be used as a form of birth control, accidents happen. I'd rather see a woman abort than leave her baby to die in a trash can or wrap it in a blanket so tightly it suffocates. I don't approve of having numerous abortions because you are careless and didn't at least TRY to prevent a pregnancy.

  17. I am PRO abortion only in special cases.

Here is an example: A pregnant woman is so traumatized by her pregnancy that she threatens suicide. If she does, both she and the baby die.

Another example: A pregnant woman's health is at risk if the pregnancy continues. She will not survive to term. She has other children who need her.

I am not in favor of  abortion in the instances of rape, or accidental or careless conception.

I am very much in favor of sterilization of certain individuals, but that would never fly because it has the potential for abuse.

BTW, condom and birth control pills are not 100% effective. My 3rd child is a result of a little hole in a condom (discovered to my shock), and a woman who shared my maternity hospital room gave birth to a child she conceived while on the pill.

The only 100% effective method of preventing pregnancy is abstinence.

  18. we have more information on s*x today than ever before, but girls become  pregnant anyway.  We should be shouting from the roof tops and teach responsibility when kids are having kids.  abortion was one of those things to help lower income girls.  Girls with money could be admitted to a hospital on dad's insurance for a simple procedure (god knows what) and have an abortion and no one was any wiser.  Lower income families did not have insurance or money and their girls were dieing in the streets from a coat hanger knitting needle or what ever to do the job. Plus infections and bleeding.  Abortions have been around for many many years.  Cleopatra was a champion when it came to abortions.  No one cared who had an abortion until the Government started paying the bill.

  19. abortion is harsh no matter how you look at it...i am totally against it........i can`t imagine being raped and falling pregnant from it.........i wouldn`t want to be in any mothers shoes then...but i can even definately say i would keep it.a baby is a part of you the mother. no matter how you look at it......complicated story to tell a child when th day comes and he or she wants to know who the father is in that predictament.we as women have the ability to give life ,something a man will never understand.no matter any way you look at it...it is the mothers baby a part of her.........who wuld want to kill that feeling,a life,a part of you.

  20. ha, it could happen to you.  it's just a bunch of proteins for the first couple of months anyway...a simple nervous system doesn't make it a person.

  21. I would agree for someone who is viciously raped,or a mother who's life is in danger for giving birth. But I cannot agree to a quicky one night irresponsible fling. There are condoms and birth control pills out there. There is no excuse.

  22. Not really. Maybe rape. It's just so unfortunate either way you look at it because either way a life is being lost no matter what the reason and it wasn't the baby's fault.

  23. For one thing, someone who thinks abortion should be allowed is not "for abortion", they're "pro choice".  I personally believe it should be used in situations when it's necessary, and the way you phrased the question makes me out to sound like I am for aborting children.  I'm pro choice, not pro abortion.

  24. It's a womans right, if someone is Pro-Life, well that is good for them, but they should respect the opinions of others and let them do as they have a right to. Many people I know are Pro-Life for themselves specifically, but then they are also Pro-Choice for other women. Meaning they personally wouldn't do it themselves, but respect other women for whichever choice they choose.

  25. I'm 100% for abortion. Regardless.

  26. It's is not pro abortion it is pro choice.  how would you like it if someone forced you to do something that wasn't right for you.  I understand it's a Cristian opinion to be pro life.  Understand that there are millions of Americans that are atheist.   Why should they be FORCED FED your  Religious beliefs.   Separation of Church and State is the reason people came to America. Stop trying to take that away.   By the way I'm a Catholic who would never have an abortion myself.  What we need to do to start a discussion on how do we lower the amount of abortions in this country.

  27. What if a condom breaks

    Birth control doesn't work 100%

    I thing its fine!!

If You protected your self but made a mistake

you can fix it or either have trouble caring for it and making its life H3ll or not take care of it!!

sometimes its just better to get rid of it

  28. I'm basically with you there.

  29. I'm totally against abortion unless the baby is under 13 weeks or there is something wrong with the baby, the mother was raped...etc..

I had a premature baby at 28 weeks, and saw babies in intensive care that were 23 weeks that survived and people are allowed to aborted a baby up to 24 weeks gestation....its totally sick.

I watched a documentation on abortion and after 18 weeks, the baby bones have to be snapped and the baby is removed piece by piece...its just ******* wrong and it makes me so angry.

Quite a lot of my friends have had abortion but I think some of them just use it as contraception but I found that most of them regret it and my friend suffered from severe depression because of it.

People think that having a baby will ruin their life, but I think that getting rid of it will ruin it even more...especially when you find that may not be able to have children later in life, relationship breakdowns, depression, always having the thought that you murder your own child.

  30. I disagree with that; I believe that unless it was a surrogate mother (which, in turn, the surrogate doesn't have the right to abort the fetus, since it isn't hers), the mother has a right to choose if she can abort the baby or not before the third trimester (since the fetus won't be able to feel pain). No matter the circumstances, if the mother is not ready, she has a choice to rid herself the fetus; what's even worse is if the baby's born into the arms of a mother who won't care for it because she never wanted it in the first place. It's more humane to rid the fetus instead of making it suffer a life in the care of an irresponsible mother that didn't want it. Of course, the mother may choose alternative methods, such as adoption and so on, but if the mother chooses to abort, then she's entitled to that choice.

  31. I agree with you 100%.... you sure are opening a can of worms here :)
