You have to go to the map in your house and press buy and buy the green room. It's 1000 Kinzcash.

to get a back yard...all you have to do is go to your house and then click on map....then click on a buy and then an empty square and purchase the outdoor yard for 1000

you know where you go to get a new room,  well one of the options after large room is backyard.
