For all of you women who have been pregnant before...?

What are the symptoms you had that you just knew were not AF? and also has anyone experienced their allergies getting way worse when you got pregnant?

I didn't have any allergies when I was pregnant because I tried avoiding things that I am allergic of. Please do this also for the sake of your baby!

When you get pregnant, you can have allergy like symptoms

i.e.-congestion, runny nose, flu like symptoms, etc.

With my first son, the only symptom I had was I started hating the smell of cigarette smoke (I was a smoker) and with my second son, I just knew. No symptoms really, it was just a feeling.

As for allergies, mine have been worse since I had my kids.

As for AF symptoms, I had lower back pain with my daughter, she sat low and further back than my son did. I also had  most of my labor pains in my back with her. That's the only thing that pops into my head at the moment but then my kids are now 18 and 12. So it was a long time ago.  

You did not elaborate on what symptoms you are having, So hard to know what is worrying you.

Nope with all of mine I've felt like AF was going to show up any minute. I have also felt more miserable allergy wise then normal at the beginning of my pregnancies.

I had no symptoms.

I had no allergy increases.

My friend is pregnant and all of the sudden, she is allergic to chili powder

my period symptoms and pregnancy symptoms were the same..... like when i was going through my 2nd month of pregnancy, I thought it was pms... but I was actually pregnant... and yes, I had a stuffy nose all the time...

but I felt sick constantly, and my fatigue was really intense...

I had very light cramps, and missed period. Thats about it.

i felt like i had the flu & yes my allergies have gotten ALOT worse w. my cat now

Sorry i don't know what AF is but I had no allergies before I had kids.  After I had my second son I became allergic to penicillin and i think lotion.  The dr said that your allergies can worsen or you can develop them when you have become pregnant

I don't know what af means but as far as allergies... I have never suffered from a single allergy in my life, as soon as I got pregnant I started suffering allergies big time!!!

af - meaning aunt flow i'm guessing. symptoms were similar for pregnancy as af, but my b***s were incredibly sore... this was my first solid clue. and my allergies are the same while pregnant, i think. i get hives and have to take zyrtec everyday, so it's hard to know. my nose if always stuffed though.

From what my allergist told me about 1/3 women get worse allergies, 1/3 get no change and 1/3 like me get almost complete reprieve from any symptoms at all. I have really bad seasonal allergies and that was one thing that made me suspect I was pregnant. I wasn't sneezing my face off as I usually am at this time of year. The only time I have felt any problems is recently and that is mostly because the farmers are threshing in the fields around where I live and that makes my throat itch and burn. I guess for me it's a trade off, I get to puke instead of cough itch and sneeze..so it's a no win situation for me..LOL

I always feel a warm/hot/tingly spot when I first get pregnant. With my daughter it was on my shoulders, with my son it was my low back. With this one the hot spot was on my calves..weird. Once I get about 8 weeks the hot spot disappears...I still don't get it but that is the only thing I can think of that is not a period symptom.

the only thing i had with both my pregnacies that were a big give away was the stuffy nose like cold coming on... the doctor said it;s becasue your body produces more mucus..  ,and with all the other symptoms.. sore b*****s, neauseous , feeling heavy ,....
