  1. I have read the book at least 4 times over the years.  I love this book and it's multiple characters.  I don't know if this is my favorite scene, but it always has stuck with me.  When Bev is in the bathroom at her home and the blood comes bubbling and squirting from the sink, it always freaks me out.  Especially since no one else can see it but her.  I think it sticks with me because drains ARE creepy.  You never know what kinds of icky things are down there!

  2. I'm a huge fan of Stephen King, but I have to say this was my least favorite book of his.  I loved it up until the ending, and then I thought the ending was SO horrible that it completely ruined the rest of the book for me.  I'm sorry, but Stephen King had to have been smoking crack to write an ending where a little girl has to have s*x with all her little boy friends.  An under-age gang bang?  No disrespect to the brilliant Mr. King, but what the heck was he thinking?

Other than that, I thought the best scene in the book is when Pennywise is in the sewer.  "They all float down there..."

    CREEPY.

  3. I like the part where they are back in the sewer as adults.

  4. I liked the beginning the best. When they first began to describe him waiting under the bridge for that guy... man!

Part of it, is that I'm afraid of water where I cant see that bottom. At night, you can barely even see under the surface. Now we add Pennywise (It, Robert Gray, whatever you want to call him) to the mix and it freaks me out! When I first read this part, I had to take that garbage out that night. As I was walking back to the house, I thought I saw a person standing by our front walkway. This was the only time that I remember a book actually making me weary of my surroundings.

I also liked when they were battling It in the house on Neibolt Street when he was the werewolf. Such a cool scene.

  5. it was my least favorite book of his  to me it was just weird

  6. I read it when it first came out must be at least 20 years ago and it is the only one I have never read again. It was too weired and for the life of me can't remember much about it.

I have read all the others more than once and I get his new books as soon as they are released so I am a huge fan even if i can't remember much of IT

  7. The last page.  I loved it because it meant the book was finally over.  I love Stephen King, but was very disappointed in "It".  I trudged through all 1,000 or so pages, thinking it would eventually get better, but it didn't.

Fortunately, the next book I read by King was "The Stand", which completely restored my faith and then some. :)
