To be taken seriously, you need to post the correct facts.  Where is the official stats of the ranking of leagues?  What is it based on - salary paid or quality of the league.  Do you really think that the MLS is ranked 80th in quality.  

Second, if Mexico wants to be recognized even better in the world then it would actually benefit if the MLS is ranked higher; you need the leagues within CONCACAF to be good so that everyone looks better.    

Finally, maybe this is more of a cultural thing.  But when people argue that the MLS is better then the Mexico league or getting comparable, we are talking about now.  Obviously, we are not referring to the history of the league, it has not been around long enough.  Additionally, how many people really care how good you were 10 years ago.  What is the league like now - today - is what matters.  

If you are going to make history a factor - then US could argue that their third place in the World-Cup however many decades ago (1930) - is a factor of how good the US is today in soccer.  It does not matter.

let me ask you one question...why do you need to bring up history when every US fan who says that the US is better is talking about the present?  We don't care about your history, the US doesn't have the history of football accomplishments like other countries.  Stop coming up with facts from the past and look at whats happening now, the US has a recent stretch of success against Mexico.
