For all the bodysurfers out there...Im trying to find the name of a surf board.?

Question

This surfboard fits over your hand and is approximately the size of a small dinner plate, its used by bodysurfers when surfing down the side of a wave. Ive seen it before but just cant find one. Its called by different names ie "handgun", "surfgun". Does anyone know more about this surfboard?

Hey dude.

I love bodysurfing... cant get enough of it... There are lots of 'names' / terms for what you are describing, some home made and some bought, one of the most popular at the moment and can be found at heaps of stores online is  'Pod Handboard ' I think its made in Australia. I tried my friends and its pretty good. I dont know if you have bodsurfed much before but 'good fins' are key... more important than the handboard / pod. I reccomend 'Duckfeet' (as used by many of the worlds greatest bodysurfers - the lifeguards of the hawaii including Mark Cunningham & Darick Doerner)  for me Duckfeet Rock!!! Viper are good too and of course churchills.
