For all the drum corps guys out there?

I'm a junior in high school and I'm on the bass line in a 4-A school. And I'm still young, I'm wondering what your take is on deciding which I should play, tenors or snare drum. I like the multiple drums of tenors and having more of a musical range with those. But I love drumming int he traditional grip, and the snare drums have crazier rudiments and sticking. What do you think about it?

i say go for it but keep working on technique so that you can handle diddles, rolls, scrapes, shots, & rudiments as all the above are used on tenors too.
