Do people drive you crazy when they think they know why your child is crying/upset/wont eat tea etc. My mother in law is constantly doing this, and saying well with my boys I did so and so. And my boys went to sleep right away, they never acted up. It really gets on my nerves! Why do people think they know better?

  1. lol...I know!  My son is a cranky baby and everyone and I mean everyone is always saying "Oh, he's hungry!" or "Oh, he's tired".  No he's not!  I know his tired signs and he's obviously not hungry if he just drank 6 ounces and half a bottle each of veggies and fruit 20 minutes before.

  2. I have a 3 & 1 yo and if my mother in law says something it doesnt bother me . Im a stay ay home dad and enjoy some time alone with my wife so thats where a know it all mother or friend comes in handy. I just hand the kids too them for a sleepover because they know ho to look after them. Every time my inlaws have them they look exhausted after . I guess its hard for them to remember what it was like 30 years ago when they were raising kids.

Anyway to make a point use people who know everything to your advantage, besides they are only concerned and there is nothing wrong with that.

  3. I can't stand it when people try to tell me how my baby is feeling, or better yet when they preach to me about how I chould raise my child like theirs!  Drives me crazy but I guess it comes with the territory.  Maddening evn if they are trying to help

  4. Yes, I hate this.  I am his MOTHER, I know what he needs!
