So I just moved out to the country. Been running for maybe 2 months. Long enough to officially get hooked. 67 degrees, nice quiet country road I'm thinking PERFECT!!! Running a long, settling into my pace...next thing I know I've got a minihelicopter [horsefly] flying around my head. And then ZAP! watch that baby take a bite. So much for a nice country run!!!Is there ANYTHING I can use to protect me from horseflies?!?!?! Surely someone else has to deal with this problem every summer and I REALLY don't want to give up running. I don't have a gym close enough by that I can go run on a treadmill in the morning before getting ready for work. And I REALLY don't want to continuously be sprinting and come to hate and loathe my healthy habit.
