  1. i am a competetive swimmer and i swim 8 times a week and i am in shape swimmers don't need to be that buff thing to be good

  2. i feair while i mean like hard trraning 1.5 hr each night for a fair time

  3. some of the best swimmers arent buff at all, they are lean and fit. Swimming will make you strong but probably not very built(although some people do build swimming, depending on the person). If becoming built is all you want, i suggest free weights, but heavy weights will not help swimming so much.

  4. well, i have been swimming for 3 years now sometimes practicing for more than 3 times a week.  I am not buff or ripped, kinda. You will get stronger in your arms legs and abs but there may not be a super noticeable difference in your appearance. But you will be doing the coolest sport in the world so go for it!!!

  5. Swimming is one of the best ways to stay in shape. I works so many muscles.

And it's fun if you like to swim.

  6. All the male swimmers I've known that were really into swimming were fit. Not really buff, but...very very fit and toned. Some of them were buff...but I think that's because they did weightlifting or other sports too. (When you say buff I picture those really muscley guys...not sure if that's what you're picturing).

3 times a week....maybe if its like 2 hours each time, then you'll tone up eventually.

  7. You need 5 to 6 days of training and some land-exercises like lots of sit-ups and weights to get a well-sculpted body.

National swimmers and water-polo players train twice a day and daily to reach tip-top condition, in both performance and looks.

So you decide:: how far you set your sights and how much time and energy you have, as your right decision and passion will not only give you a great-looking body but also recognition for winning honours.

  8. swimming really does tone you out. cuz i practice everyday .
