For all those who are 'anti adoption', do you think Britney Spears deserves another chance to parent?

First of all, Britney isn't old enough to adopt from China.  I am certain you need to be 30 years old to adopt from there.   The wait time for Chinese adoptions is getting quite long, I hear around 3 years for referral.

I think Britney has a right to parent her sons.  It's too bad the media is watching her constantly.  Sure she could use a parenting class or two, but I don't think she deserves worst parent of the year or anything like that.

Britney Spears needs some serious counceling. I hope she gets another chance even if it has to be supervised. I feel sorry for her.I certainly don't think she has the right to adopt and she doesn't need anymore children until she grows up, that's for sure.

I dont think its a joke when u get your kids taken...

anyway, I think she deserves another chance but after she realizes what has been actually happening in her world.... I mean she has to want herslef to be clean and when she does then she can get her chance. My son makes me stronger and I wish the same for her...

I'm not on drugs but everything I do I think about my son first and everymother doesnt grow up after having children, if that's the case there would be no foster and adoption programs, right? everyone makes mistake but everyopne doenst learn from them!

Britney Spears needs mental help before she can make sound choices in her life. I wouldn't use her as an example for your question.

No, she won't be able to adopt from China.  

1.  She is now a single mother

2.  She has a history of drugs

3.  She has lost custody of her own kids.

4.  She has been in rehabiliative facilities.

If she does adopt, she bought and paid for those children illegally.  It will never happen.  I know a majority of people here will agree

I would hope she keeps on her birth control pills until she can get detoxed and her life back in order before conisdering more children.

Did you see the latest? All the tabloids are reporting she's pregnant again. Some reports say she confirmed it, some say she denied it, who knows. I think she needs to get her act together, get off drugs, sober up, take some parenting classes and mature quite a bit before she's allowed to even look at another kid. Thats not to say I think she should have Sean Preston and Jayden permanently removed from her care, but I think she's a mess and doesn't need any more right now, adopted or otherwise. I don't think K-Fed is so wonderful either, he's just the best of the worst in my opinion.

The thing about adopting chinese twins is so ludicrous there is nothing to do but laugh at the thought of either her or Paris being approved to adopt from China. I bet the folks that the CCAA (chinese center for adoption affairs) were either absolutely mortified or died laughing when they heard that one.

But hey, who knows, maybe she'll be the next Angelina Jolie, the Jerry Springer version.
