  1. Hi,

I'm from chennai, normally i go for a drive from chennai to pondy every Saturday, today the stretch was busy as usual, but the road was deserted for almost 6 week when IPL was going on...

    IPL was a sure success...

    Anand

  2. i loved it it was a amazing experience

  3. I never watched one moment of it.

  4. NO...  I dislike it, I only watched a couple of games but because I was interested how symonds and ponting's performance.

  5. i loved the ipl it was just like watching the world cup, amazing with all sixes and fours and wickets flying everywhere

  6. Only thing I didnt like was all the question on YA, nd where still getting them.

I like all cricket, so if its on the TV or I can make to the game ill watch it.

  7. No i never watched 1 match..Dont like the thought of an leauge like the IPL taking away the fame from real cricket..

  8. I liked the second part of the IPL as many matches were close

contests. Super efforts and team play by Royals and hence

crowned the Kings of IPL. IPL is not only about Indians or India

even though played in India - but the bottom line is, to an

extent it lived to its expectations.

The time difference worked for me as I live in US on the Pacific

coast. The best I liked about was Warne's captaincy, low paid

players brilliantly  - Marsh, Tanvir and Watson. Highly paid

players did not perform as expected. So changes will be on the

    way.

  9. I really liked it.   Fast and exciting to watch.   I think cricket was due for a change.   It certainly created a divide between the traditionalists and the rest.   But if all the trads had their way,  ODI's and 20/20 wouldn't exist.   How boring would the game be then?   What other sport can say it has 3 versions of the same game?

But I agree with gking 92 regarding the questions in here though.   It almost made me want the comp to end.   And another thing I didn't like was the fact it was on at midnight in Perth.   I've lost count how many times I set the recorder!

  10. No, it was a total bore. Didn't help that there were 20,000,000 questions asking similar things about it on here.

Look at previous answers - that's what they're there for!

Glad we've got England - New Zealand. Back to the good old test match, the ultimate test of a cricketer. Not to say 2020 is bad, its better than ODI's. The Twenty20 Cup is fantastic. But tests are better.

  11. Dear Anjan,

I was initially hesitant about IPL. Akhtars fantastic entry inspired me to watch IPL. However, it was too late for KKR (the team that I was supporting later on). Thanks to the people of the province of Bengal for taking our players. They were very supportive of everybody especially,  the best  fast bowler, Akhtar!

Finally, Tanvir did a fantastic job, and won the well deserved cap. I liked the fact that he received good support from the Indian crowd-- who were always cheering for him. These are all very good things to watch and is good for our relationship.

I watched replay of the finals, in parts, it was a keen contest and was very interesting and nail-biting.

The 12 hr difference was the only problem, so only weekends were free to watch.

    Rehman of Multan

  12. I am scottish and thought the IPL was amazing.
