  1. Dont worry too much about doing any motion or gesture... Your mind naturally creates body language with how you feel, so lets go to the source. Its all about how you feel. IF you feel confident and successful then that is what you will be. If your not then it will shine through.

Doing this and that does not work. Grabbing your belt in approval, no bueno. Be confident and your body will sell yourself as that. be scarred, and your body language will show that.

So whatever you want to be no matter what emotion or expression it is think that and you will be that

  2. Crossed arms means you don't like what someone is telling you or you are cold.

Touching your mouth while talking to a salesman means you like what you are hearing so make sure you cross yoru arms if you don't want them to know you like something.  I always relay that because salesmen go thru body language courses and know how to read people.  I like to confuse them.

  3. It is not very accurate, and can vary based on factors you may not be aware of.

    Eye Contact = Confidence

That is usually true only in Western culture, in the East it could be considered to be rude. Even in the West, that only applies to extroverts, introverts tend to look away from the person they are addressing as their thoughts become more complex.

    Nodding Head = Agreement

Usually only true for men, women tend to nod as an acknowledgment of what the speaker is saying, and not as an affirmation.

Nodding = Yes, Shaking = No

Not if you’re speaking to an Indian, we use our heads movements like a separate language

Reading body language is something that takes lots a lot of knowledge, experience, and observation of people. Use at your own risk.
