For all you Celtic fans out there?

Why is it that there seems to be so many Manchester United haters who are Celtic fans. For me as a Manchester United fan also following Celtic seems to go hand in hand. All the lads that I know who follow United also follow Celtic but looking around on this section it doesnt seem to be the reverse. Please explain.

don't hate anyone just support one team Celtic if as you say some Celtic fans don't like your team maybe your fans have done something.

you get manchester united haters from everywhere, its sheer jealousy.

i like manchester united because of Sir Alex being a Govan man, and i like the way they play, but i wont cheer them on or anything.  but i certainly wouldnt hate them just because everyone else does.

its called "flavour of the month".  manchester united fans never bothered about celtic when they were nearly going to the wall in the 90s.

I dont dislike Man U in fact I enjoy watching them but in England, its Liverpool for me even though I know there is a split in the Liverpool fans between Celtic and rangers. Pretty sure there are a couple of Hoops fans on here who have a soft spot for Man U. Like a lot of folk have said, you can only love one team and give them their full support for me its Celtic and I have soft spots for Dundee U, Liverpool and Barca

I dont hate man utd.the atmoshere at the parkhead was strange,all the nutters under the sun seemed to be there,I was at the other champions league games that season and there wasnt the charged atmosphere

Not sure they do, I have no allegiance with the EPL whatsoever, I do give my mates a slagging somtimes when united get beat, but thats just because it winds them up as they are used to winning.

Maybe the affiliation of Liverpool and Celtic is closer, but many of my Celtic mates are supporters of Man U and have been to Old Trafford on many an occasion.

There are the detractors who don't like them due to the Ferguson/ Rangers link, among other things, but hey ho.

Writing for myself, I enjoy Man U's style of football and just wish we had the same kind of bankroll you jammy sods enjoy.

as a celtic fan i personally would never have a second team, we are one of the biggest teams in europe and i couldnt care less about any other team in england or anywhere else, celtic fans have supported many man utd players in there testimonials over the years, and liverpools first game after hillsbrough was at celtic park a game i went to as a young boy, but overall i dont think many celtic fans care less about man utd or liverpool, we already support the best club in the world!!

I donno. But I know a man u fan who didn't even know where celtic played and claimed to support them. It made me laugh so hard because he always took the mick out of me and called me a hun and then I find out that. I donno why either. Maybe because alex ferguson was a rangers fan?? Just maybe. I really donno. Anyway I'm a rangers girl and I support the gunners. Weird eh??

I have family in England that support Man Utd and some here too so I guess that I follow suit. Although it sometimes feel a bit like glory hunting, but what's wrong with following a successful team? I don't have a problem doing it in Scotland.

I dont know why so many of them hate Man Utd - i#m a celtic fan and dont like Man Utd but only because i follow Arsenal.

But i know LOADS of Celtic fans who are also Liverpool fans - maybe this is why
