hi i just want to no how did you guys get on tv and modeling like did you go online or call a add in the phone book or just get noticed i want to know so i could start i would do some of the things i just said like phone book or online but i herd alot of people got scam out of it and gave big money most was some relatives and i really want to do this so any places you guys no for me to get started

Start off with simple stuff like school plays and community theater. You can find community theaters in your area just by doing a google search for "[your city] community theater." You also might want to check with any local and community colleges to see if any student films are being shot, as they'll usually cast anyone they can get. If you do well enough with that, get some headshots done, find an agent, and start auditioning for professional productions.

You should also think about training. Dance lessons and private voice lessons benefit any performer, even if they don't plan to do the singing and dancing thing. If you're at an age where it's appropriate, you should also think about going to college and getting a performance degree; it'll take a few years, but you'll learn a great deal in college and having a degree will make you stand out more and be taken more seriously in auditions.
